Andean and Central America Energy Congress
The Andean region and Central American isthmus are amongst the most active in the energy sector in Latin America. PDVSAīs U$100 billion investment plan in Venezuela, the consolidation of the regional electric market in Central America, aggressive expansion plans being undertaken by previously local industry players such as Colombiaīs Ecopetrol, Grupo Isa and EPM, and the mammoth Mesoamerican oil refinery project are but a few examples of an industry that is moving billions of dollars and helping shape the future of the region.
These and other strategic energy issues were actively discussed during the 2007 Andean and Central America Energy Congress (ACA), organized by Business News Americas and Informa and held in Cartagena de Indias. During three days, delegates obtained critical information regarding multi-billion dollar energy projects currently underway and examined energy integration policy and strategy in conjunction with key decision-makers, tier-1 energy executives, regulators, and government officials. ACA has undoubtedly become a unique platform from which to explore all the business opportunities available in the Andean and Central American energy markets. Donīt miss it! |
